Progressive Vegan Feminist Writer
I always loved classical music as a child, but found it too intimidating to listen to regularly, because people didn't think it was cool. Once I got to college, I started listening to classical music exclusively, and have never looked back. Pop music simply couldn't provide the depth of emotional expression, or the intellectual challenge that classical music could. I found it more thought-provoking, uplifting, and soothing. I also liked the historical richness that I discovered, especially with early music.
