I grew up with classical and folk music in the family and went on to be a music teacher, which is sadly not what I do at the moment for a living. But this doesn't stop me enjoying classical music to a great deal in my everyday life. Addicted to BBC3, member of a chamber choir and as a passionate folk singer and musician I play hurdy-gurdy and dabble with a few other instruments, including the piano, when I have one at the house.
