Romantic Era for romantic people Although my tastes in music are quite broad, my real favorites are turn of the (last) century composers. My favorites include Prokofiev, Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin, Shastakovich, Saint-Saens, Poulenc, and Rachmaninov. For a bit of a change in pace, I also love Gustav Holst and Leroy Anderson, and anyone who'll sing showtunes with me in on their way to my innermost circle of friends at the very least.
