i am a retired construction worker morphing into a gardener. family (five grown kids)and friends, art, remodeling, and gardening are my main passions. freely admitting that youtube is my teacher, the permaculture movement series has all of my attention as an approach to garden design in my backyard. little by little the garden is taking shape and benefiting from permaculture influences. hugel style raised beds are additions this year, as well as, a spiral herb garden, a keyhole raised bed, and possibly a no dig potato bed. there is still a ways to go before i've established a stable system, but the journey is rewarding as well as fascinating. this is a time in my life when creating a beautiful comfortable space to relax and enjoy nature in has a strong appeal.

cultivating a positive outlook, finding common ground with others, trying to see the bigger picture, and giving back where i can makes up the attitude and path my heart wants me to follow. i would care to get to know a like minded woman who is family oriented, as well as passionate about gardening, and also interested in discussing ideas with an open mind.
