The music in my life Music is a constant presence in my life; my "favorites" are many, from plainchant through Dufay and Machaut to Josquin, from Monteverdi through Baroque and classical-- the Romantics, Impressionists and the 20th c. Viennese, Stravinsky up through Lou Harrison...how can anyone choose??
I also love to dance and enjoy visual art and theater (though I prefer plays to musicals). I also enjoy the music of other countries, especially their "classical" music (e.g., ragas rather than Bollywood). And I've found wonderful listening on the internet, for example France Musique on Radio France International. Keeps me sane at work.
