Only 2 kinds of music: Good and bad ... I forgot who said that, I think it was a Jazz great, but probably a whole lot of people

I'm looking for friendships, and with luck, a partner.

Musically, to tell the truth, I'm mostly a listener at this time. But I studied the fiddle and classical singing for ten years each. Good amateur level. My ears are world-class!

I'm a science type and passionately interested in history, the human mind (seriously), and even the brain. I recently wrote a book about all that, so I was forced to really get into depth. I'm European by birth, Jewish, and naturally interested in all the things that follow from that.

I do some teaching as well as writing, and most of all I love to have conversations --- as long as they are honest and accepting. There are so many gorgeous things to think and talk about, so much amazing music to listen to, and via the web, we can visit the greatest art in the world on our laptops.

I'm hooked --- on a lot of things, I suppose, but nothing illegal, in case you were wondering.
This is a wonderful time to be alive and exploring so many amazing things. I like to share the things I feel passionately about, in a constructive way. Human beings don't have to march in lockstep to be friends and lovers.
